A signature party food, the word “charcuterie” refers to cold cooked, cured, or smoked meats, so in the most “official” sense, a traditional charcuterie board is just a meat platter. But as these craveable boards have gotten more popular for entertaining at home this meaning has grown to include meats, cheeses, dried and fresh fruits and vegetables, toasted nuts, briny olives, and condiments – honeys, jams, jellies, chutneys, mustards and more!
